Bring the wedding photos home with you.
Whether you celebrate close to home or bring everyone together abroad, your guests will catch moments from all around the room. Bring those photos together to enjoy after the celebration.
Share a FotoDrop album by QR code or link. Guests choose photos in their phone browser, and you can save the collection before its hosting period ends.
Set up the album before you print the signs
Create an album with your email address and a name guests will recognise. Keep access to that inbox: you sign in by email to manage the album.
Try the guest flow in a separate rehearsal album: scan the QR code, select a photo, wait for confirmation and check that it appears. A test photo starts the hosting period, so use your event album only when you are ready for that countdown to begin.
- Check the venue connection with a phone where guests will actually use it.
- Print a sample QR sign and scan it at its final size.
- Choose who will remind guests to add their photos and who will download the collection.
Make the invitation easy to notice
Put a short invitation beside the QR code: “Add your photos to our wedding album.” Tables, the bar and a photo corner are useful places to try. Keep the code clear of folds, glare and decorative backgrounds.
A brief reminder from the host or MC can explain what to do: scan, choose a few photos and wait for upload confirmation. Send the album link too, so guests have another way to open it.
Leave room for the journey home
Guests travelling after the wedding may prefer to choose their photos once they have a steady connection. Send the same link after the celebration, while the album is still active, and include the date you want contributions by.
Plan that date within the 14-day period that begins with the first successful upload, not the wedding date. Check the remaining space before sending a reminder: the 100-photo limit is shared by everyone. Download before the album expires, even if some guests have yet to contribute.
A small collection, with clear limits
Your Free album holds up to 100 photos in total and stays available for 14 days from its first successful upload. No payment card needed. Videos are not included.
The limit applies to the whole album, not to each guest. Free works for a small collection or trying the guest flow. If you need a larger collection or a longer upload window, the current Free offer will not cover it.
Photos are normally optimised to at most 4,000 pixels on the longest edge. Keep the camera originals separately if you need untouched files, larger prints or room for substantial cropping.
EU storage for your album
Album details and uploaded photos on FotoDrop.eu use Cloudflare storage restricted to the EU.
Email delivery, network handling, support, logs, caches, visit measurement and backups have their own processing arrangements and may involve locations outside the EU.
Help for your FotoDrop.eu album
Ask them to open the link in their usual browser, check their connection and select photos from the phone’s picker. They should keep the page open until it confirms the upload. If it fails, follow the retry message and check which photos already completed.

No. Guests open the album in a browser and choose photos from their phone. The host uses email sign-in to manage it. Any password or encryption protection you enable also applies to guest access.
Yes, while the album is active and has space. Free hosting lasts 14 days from the first successful upload, including a test photo, and allows 100 photos in total. Send reminders within that window and download before expiry.
Free albums are photo-only. Mini (€9) adds 10 videos of up to 100 MB each. Full (€19) has no fixed photo or video count within the album’s storage, with up to 500 MB per video. You can upgrade, add capacity or extend hosting from the album’s management page.
