Your Free album holds up to 100 photos in total and stays available for 14 days from its first successful upload. No payment card needed. Videos are not included.
What Free includes
One album to collect and browse guest photos, with a sharing link and a downloadable QR code image. A printable A4 QR poster is included from Mini upwards. Guests use a browser without installing an app or creating an account. You manage it by signing in with your email.

When the hosting period starts
Creating an empty album does not start its 14-day hosting period. The first successful upload does, including a test photo. Use a separate rehearsal album if you want to practise before starting the event countdown.
Allow time for guests to contribute and for your own download. If you need longer, the host can add 7, 30 or 90 days from album management before hosting ends.
What you save
Photos are normally optimised to at most 4,000 pixels on the longest edge. Keep the camera originals separately if you need untouched files, larger prints or room for substantial cropping.
Each photo upload has a 20 MB file-size limit. If the uploader rejects a file, follow its error message before trying again.
Download and check your copy before hosting ends. FotoDrop is a time-limited collection service; it does not replace your own long-term backup. An expired album closes, and after its recovery period the stored photos become eligible for permanent deletion.
Sharing and optional protection
Guests open the album in their browser without installing an app or creating an account. By default, people with the shared link or QR code can view its photos while the album is active. A link can be forwarded, and recipients can save copies.
You can choose optional password protection or browser-side encryption during creation. Guests then need the password or the complete key-bearing sharing link. These protections do not increase the photo limit or hosting period.
Mini and Full albums
Prices are in EUR and paid once per purchase through Stripe checkout, with no subscription. Start with a Free album, then open its management page to choose an upgrade.
- Mini: €9 — 500 photos, 10 videos and 30 days of hosting.
- Full: €19 — no photo or video count limit within the included 25 GB of storage, 90 days of hosting and optional private collection.
- Mini to Full: €10 after your Mini credit.

- Custom QR design is not offered. School plans are not offered on this site.
EU storage for your album
Album details and uploaded photos on FotoDrop.eu use Cloudflare storage restricted to the EU.
Email delivery, network handling, support, logs, caches, visit measurement and backups have their own processing arrangements and may involve locations outside the EU.

Add-ons for an eligible album
Capacity purchases serve the whole album. Hosting extensions, slideshow and guestbook purchases are the host’s decision. Guestbook requires Full. Extra storage is available for eligible Full albums, up to two storage packs per album. Extra storage does not extend hosting. Already included features and unusable capacity are not sold.

Event Kit Base and XL
Each purchase covers one independently managed event workspace for 180 days. Base includes 50 GiB of storage; XL has managed capacity for demanding events under fair-use limits. Both support sections, upload targets, moderation and event materials. XL adds bulk moderation and a controlled live wall.

Expiry closes access to the hosted album. Copies you have already downloaded remain on your own device. Check that your download succeeded before hosting ends.
